Africa's Wealth, Africa's Loss: A Call for Change Chris H. CYUSA Since 2010, millions of sub-Saharan Africans have sought greener pastures abroad, primarily in Europe and the United States. According to recent data, migration from Africa continues to grow, driven by a mix of aspirations, systemic inequalities, and governance failures. While poverty remains a significant factor, it is not poverty alone that drives this exodus—it is the lack of opportunity caused by mismanagement and corruption. This journey is fraught with immense danger. Many migrants face harrowing conditions, including detention in inhumane camps reminiscent of dark historical times. Libya, for instance, has often been cited as a grim example of the exploitation and abuse endured by migrants seeking a better life. " Rubanda Nyamwinshi " in my opinion! Chris H. CYUSA The word " Rubanda nyamwinshi " [the majority] has been used in Rwanda since long time ago as another kind of definition of a part of the population in ethnic sense! Those who used it had as the sole objective ;sowing hatred among Rwandans. However, I cannot deny that they reached their goal; the history of the country since 1959 until 1994 is witness to it! Even if as they say in kinyarwanda "Nta bapfira gushira" [People cannot die all]  After all that happened and the consequences we had to live together as a nation abandoned as dead by these extremists and "Rubanda nyamwinshi" propagandists. Rwandans dedicated themselves to the rebirth of they country, all as one people! Seeing where we are today; here in my opinion is the true meaning of Rubanda nyamwinshi for the new generation of Rwanda; I thought our haters should know!  1.
